Former President Donald Trump announced on the weekend that he has extended an invitation the relatives of a Guard member fatally shot last week to come to the presidential home.
He added that he contacted her parents and they were “devastated”.

Soldier Sarah Beckstrom, twenty years old, was lost her life in a shooting on Wednesday in DC.
Her fellow service member, Staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, 24, continues receiving treatment in grave state.

The commander-in-chief explained he’s proposed a White House visit for the parents of both individuals of the West Virginia National Guard.
“I said: ‘When you’re able, because that’s a difficult moment, come to the White House. We’re going to recognize her,” the president informed the press. “And likewise with him, no matter the outcome.”

Attendees gathered over the past few days at the high school in the state to remember Beckstrom.
Both the soldiers had been serving with the state guard as part of the president’s federal initiative to support public safety in the capital.

She conducted herself with inner fortitude, a warm expression and a optimistic attitude that lifted those around her,” the principal, the head of her former high school, informed the press. “She was caring, caring and always eager to assist people.”

Law enforcement have charged a twenty-nine-year-old suspect with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder while carrying a weapon.
The event led the Trump administration to pause asylum processing and temporarily stop granting visas to possessors of travel documents.

The airman, a native of the city, enlisted in 2019 and is a graduate of his local high school, according to the AP.
He remains under medical supervision and is “fighting for his life”, West Virginia governor the governor said on television.
